Iceland celebrates Christmas with not just one Santa, rather it has thirteen Yuletide lads who perform the same functions of Santa Claus but vastly differ from the jolly old man. The mischievous Icelandic Yuletide lads play tricks and pilfer food as they hand out gifts to children.
