The Frankfurt book fair apart from featuring authors and publishing industry executives also attracts political figures. This year, the event will feature the Presidents of Turkey and Germany Abdullah Gül and Horst Köhler as well as other political figures like former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.
