What’s that sound? It’s the shrill cry of Antarctica calling out for an able and willing travel blogger to join Quark Expeditions on a $20,000 Expedition for free! The blogger must have the following in order to win the golden ticket to the icy kingdom of penguins:

* Passion for the polar regions
* Commitment to the environment
* An insatiable urge to photograph those cute little penguins

We see all these characteristics present in one Gary Arndt - whose lust for travelling is only paralleled by his lust for blogging about his adventures. Please support Gary by voting for him here. All it takes is one click of a button that says “Vote For Me” on his page and that’s it! Good luck Gary!

These festivals which are usually six in number, are collectively known as the Edinburgh festival and this year they kick off on the last day in July with the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival.

This competition, which is now known as the Celebration of Light, was initially called the Symphony of Fire when it was launched in 1990. The Celebration of Light attracts the world’s leading firework designers who use this prestigious event to showcase their talents in front of a crowd of nearly 1.4 million people.
